My professional experience was in the hospitality industry until the birth of my first child. Small Fry Press was born from the desire to be at home with my children, and build a business that I can be proud of. Although the challenges were different, they were equally as complex and fulfilling. Specializing initially in baby announcements, as with a child, the business grew… and grew… And with the addition of another child in our family, the flexible hours became another perk to this “working from home” mom.

The small area I set aside in my home for this business became larger and larger. Now a designated showroom has evolved and as it expands, the internet has become the next natural step in the development of Small Fry Press, aka www.smallfrypress.NET.

Offering a line of baby gifts from room décor to specialty personalized items for babies, teacher gifts, housewarming, birthday, hostess gifts, holiday and corporate gifts. Stationery and personalized invitations and announcements are of equal variety and weight within the company. Baby announcements, Bar/Bat Mitzvah invitations, party invitations for any theme or occasion, moving announcements, personalized stationery, memo pads, gift stickers, even personalized wrapping paper!

The goal is find unique items that will make indelible my client’s reputation for being the best gift givers, the most creative party throwers and the talk of the town!

My philosophy has always been to sell items that were unique or if they are just great items that you have seen elsewhere, I try to ensure that my prices are always less. With a distinctive product line, high quality and integrity is of utmost importance. For a business that has been built solely on word of mouth advertising, I understand and appreciate the importance of every client walking away satisfied that they found something special, and no one can deny, we all love a good deal!

The latest trends in stationery, pattern themselves off the latest trends in fashion. Intriguing combinations of colors and textures mimicking fabrics are being shown on paper. Even the use of actual fabric as a layer in an invitation or announcement has been a popular trend.
