Effective May 11, 2009, postage rates will be going up again. A standard $0.42 letter will now be $0.44. So, keep in mind, if you are sending out an invitation with a response card that has a due date of later than May 11th, stamp the response card with the new postage. Better yet, same some cash and get the Forever stamp. The Forever stamp can be purchased at the current standard postage rate and can be used forever regardless of any future rate hikes. So, invest in Forever stamps. The one thing we know for sure is that this is not the first rate increase and it won’t be the last!!
